Starting UM-Console

      UM-Console is:

      • a practical tool used to configure and display the parameters of the MGE UPS.
      • a powerful tool used to check the activity and performance of the UPS.

      UM-Console provides on-line help.

      If you have installed UM-Console , you can run UM-Console by going into the directory /usr/upsman/umconsol and by entering: ./umco

      To use UM-Console, you must first define the agent (or agents) monitored by UM-Console :

      • Click on the popup menu "Agent" then on
      • "Device Agent List" the main parameters to be defined are the IP address of the agentand it's name.).
      • From the main UM-Console window in the dialog box « Agent name », select the agent name to be supervised
      • You can save in a file some UPS parameters values or some UPS actions to do this, go to the directory /usr/upsman/umeditor and key in ./umed.
         A configuration display should appear allowing you to configure the general parameters of Solution-Pac / WAN components that you have installed. Choose following screen to configure this feature
